Maintain in good working order issued vehicles, tools and equipment
To partake in the risk assessment process prior to project commencement and continually review and report changes to your Chargehand.
A key part of an Overhead Line team to erect poles, change transformers and carry out any other overhead line work that may be required.
To construct/maintain/replace overhead electrical networks up to 33kV.
To mentor other team members.
Maintain site safety at all times.
Install and construct overhead electricity networks to relevant construction standards and exacting quality standards.
Complete all work to high standards.
Work as part of a team to ensure the safe, effective and efficient implementation of Freedom’s operations.
Maintain awareness of and conform to Freedom’s SHEQ policy and issued safety instructions.
To ensure that all work is carried out efficiently and in accordance with Company procedures and client/Company distribution safety rules.
To highlight any concerns, unsafe conditions or acts to your line manager.
Carry out all work in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of Freedom and its customers.
Acquire, maintain and develop own competence in accordance with legislative changes and customer requirements.
To lead by example and safely undertake works as directed.
Report any concerns regarding SHEQ to the SHEQ team and your manager.

People with a full driving licence
People with experience (Work on Dead Networks, Live LV Working)
Conform to all instructions stated in method statements and risk assessments.
To work safely at all times and in line with Company and statutory safety requirements.
NRSWA Operative
People with IPAF accreditation – Training can be given
Driving licence with C1+E category
People who can interact with members of the public in a polite and courteous manner.
NPTC Chainsaw qualification
People with experience as a linesman.
