- Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

- Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

- OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER Certification.
- Ability to demonstrate professional demeanor in written and verbal communications with clients, regulatory officials, and fellow employees.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Ecology, Biology or related discipline, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Valid US Driver's License is required for this position. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
- General knowledge of basic engineering and environmental sciences.
- Ability to travel locally, including occasional extended travel.
- Tolerance for work in outdoor environments in a range of weather conditions.
- Proficiency in standard office suite software applications.
- Ability to write and to convey complex thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise manner.
- This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes office work from one of our New England offices (Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire or Maine). The selected candidate must be available to work from one of our New England offices (Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire or Maine) on a scheduled basis.
- Local travel is likely and U.S travel possible and project dependent.

- Ability to work independently, both in an office environment and in the field.
- Environmental sampling (e.g., stormwater, wastewater, and hazardous waste).
- Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required for this role.
