  • Efficiently supervises and coordinates daily activities of painters, painter trainees and blast equipment operators in accordance with daily job schedules and job applicable specifications.
  • Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all paint and blasting equipment. Ensures all operators are properly instructed on the safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Responsible for ensuring the adherence to all company safety and OSHA regulations. Must maintain a thorough knowledge of company Quality Assurance and Safety Manuals.
  • Responsible for cleaning and painting of all fabricated material.
  • Prepares fabricated products for shipment.
  • Ensures proper testing procedures are used in compliance with contract specifications and maintains accurate records in accordance with AISC standards.
  • Responsible for reviewing the job applicable contract cleaning and painting specifications.
  • Orders job applicable paint and supplies.
