Auto/Heavy Equipment Technician I (2nd Shift)

Description

• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all MSD Fleet vehicles and equipment, including cars, medium and heavy-trucks, construction and vocational fleet equipment.

Requirements

About Louisville MSD

• Uniforms are provided by MSD.
• Must obtain a CDL-Class A with N endorsement within 6 months.
• High School Diploma or GED; three or more years experience as a mechanic in automotive or truck maintenance or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• Must obtain ASE Certification in A5, T4 and T8 within 6 months plus either A4 or T5 and either A1, T1 or A9 within 12 months and keep them current.
• Must have safe work and driving habits.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Employees in the Auto/Heavy Equipment Technician I position can be promoted to the Auto/Heavy Equipment Technician II position provided all of the criteria for each job posting are met and the promotion is approved.

• $72,966.40 Annually
• Second shift assignments are provided shift differential pay.
