As a Senior Network Engineer at FiberLight, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s complex network infrastructure, working closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to ensure growth, resiliency, and reliable service delivery.

Design, implement, and manage large‑scale network infrastructures per deployment standards.
Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, and IS‑IS routing protocols.
Implement extensive Layer 3 and MPLS networks.
Manage fiber‑optic service delivery and backbone connectivity.
Perform network maintenance, upgrades, patches, and security configurations.
Conduct network modeling, performance analysis, and optimization.
Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
Document network designs, configurations, and procedures.

The ideal candidate brings over a decade of experience with large‑scale networks, strong expertise in routing protocols and network architecture, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and a track record of problem‑solving, communication, and leadership in technical environments.

10+ years experience with large‑scale networks.
Deep expertise in BGP, OSPF, IS‑IS, and MPLS.
Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Hands‑on experience with Juniper, Cisco, and other major vendors.
Relevant certifications (e.g., JNCIS, JNCIP) – a plus.
Knowledge of network security practices and technologies.
