Maintains orderly work files and prepares clear, well written memos/correspondence. When assigned, prepares presentation materials.
Coordinates work with other disciplines. Performs interdisciplinary coordination check to minimize deficiencies, errors and omissions in drawings and specifications.
Creates work plan for assigned tasks. Monitors and projects personal workload status, advising supervisor of difficulties in accomplishing schedules.
Code compliance review with design professional.
Applies discipline design and detailing fundamentals in developing designs and specifications under the supervision of and subject to final approval by the Lead Professional.
Produces well-organized, finished design documents of good appearance, accuracy, clarity and correctness from layouts, sketches or written instructions.
Adhere to project strategy.
Performs dimensional, interference and basic design checks on the layouts and sketches of Licensed Professional and, as requested, on interdisciplinary drawing sets.
Establish Discipline basis of design for Design Manager to review.
Coordinates and checks work carefully to minimize all deficiencies, errors and omissions.
Discusses progress regularly with Licensed Professional of Record.
Designing for Safety incorporated into drawings.
Shop drawings returned on schedule.
Subject to final approval of Lead Professional, checks shop drawings and submittal data for conformance with contract documents.
Creates inspection reports and punch lists.
Documents meetings and telephone conversations in order to communicate to discipline leader.
Meets scheduled key dates.
Participates in coordination review sessions
Responsible for design compliance with Owner criteria.
Assists Lead Professional in field inspections, development of solutions to field problems, preparation of field orders, addenda and record drawings.
Maintains AE checklists for Design Manager to review.
Researches, documents and is responsible for discipline design compliance with all applicable codes, ordinances, standards and regulations.
Reviews applicable shop drawings and submittal data for compliance with construction documents.
Performs analysis or calculations as assigned.
Assists Lead Professional with plotting/production/assembly of drawing packages and writing specifications.
Advises Design Manager of changes.

Individual on a licensure track by either actively completing the AXP program and/or engaged in the process of completing the ARE’s.
Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
3-5 years’ experience.
Uses Haskell standards and procedures.
Analysis Ability
Discipline production software experience (i.e., Revit).
Planning, Scheduling and Profitability
Bachelor's degree in interior design from an accredited college or university.
Responds to field/construction questions as directed by discipline leader.
Experienced with creating interior finish schedules and FF&E lists
