The Training Specialist is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering training for Direct Marketing team members at Hilton Grand Vacations. The role leads new‑hire onboarding, maintains production and sales records, evaluates efficiency, handles complaints, and ensures compliance with HGV procedures, fostering a positive team environment and a safe workplace.
The specialist partners with Global Team Member Services to verify legal documentation and facilitates the global orientation program “Grand Journey.” They create and own content for new‑hire, train‑the‑trainer, workshop, e‑learning, and key sales classes, and track attendance and completion records in collaboration with site leadership and the DM training coordinator.
Performance management includes monitoring efficiency and sales data, evaluating post‑training performance to identify gaps, coaching team members and leaders, and supervising live calls to capture trends. The specialist also manages people issues by addressing complaints, documenting violations, and working with GTMS and Direct Marketing leaders to issue warnings or handle resignations.
