We have an exciting opportunity for Site Agents to join our Major Projects team delivering key highways schemes across the Milton Keynes network. In this role, you'll be instrumental in leading on-site delivery, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality. You’ll take ownership of managing subcontractors, supporting commercial processes including accurate valuations, and maintaining strong relationships with both our clients and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- To work safely and promote a safe environment for all operations
- Capture and report all costs from Papyrus and put together measures to support the income gained
- Use Action Reporting Procedure to plan and implement continuous improvements
- Manage all aspects of the Depot you are responsible for
- Supervise the operational teams in line with productivity targets and to produce costs
- Leadership – encourage all staff to use the suggestion scheme
- Attend and positively participate in Monthly Cascade Meetings
- Manage and promote the Groups IMS Processes “The Way We Work”
- Use Key Performance Measures to drive improvements
- Ensure all work is carried out to correct specification / standard
- To actively foster a positive staff morale
- Monitor the skills and experience of staff and operatives within the divisions and work with Contracts Manager to plan training and development.
- Carry out duties in line with all Company Procedures and Policies

- Proven experience in a similar Site Agent or Site Manager role within highways or infrastructure.
- SMSTS / SSSTS would be desirable
- Proficient in the use of site management tools and reporting systems.
- Work in-line with the European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQM) Model
