In this role you will prospect new relationships, understand client needs, and secure sales opportunities while guiding customers through the full sales cycle—from proposal development to closing and post‑sale support.
- Prospect and cultivate new relationships; educate prospects on HCI products and services.
- Identify customer needs and develop strategies to meet sales objectives.
- Lead the sales process from proposal development to closing, including scopes of work and change orders.
- Serve as primary client contact, managing accounts and fostering ongoing sales growth.
- Collaborate with partners in vertical markets such as transportation, utilities, healthcare, government, and education.
- Conduct needs assessments, create proposals, perform takeoffs, and present financial justifications.
- Build market awareness through networking, presentations, events, and industry association participation.
- Partner with operations to execute growth, sales, and marketing strategies.
- Achieve agreed‑upon sales targets within the specified schedule.

- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- 3‑5 years of consultative sales experience in fire‑life‑safety, electronics, construction, or electrical industries.
- Knowledge of fire alarm, nurse‑call, suppression, security, or related low‑voltage systems.
- Ability to read construction blueprints and wiring diagrams; experience with contractors and engineers.
- Strong self‑discipline, prioritization, and deadline management in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and follow‑up skills.
- Proficiency with Windows, MS Office, and CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable attendance.
