Description

The Finance Business Partner will act as the primary finance liaison for Branch and District Managers, supporting the Finance Manager with detailed financial analysis to guide strategic decisions. This individual contributor role involves month‑end journal entries, market‑level forecasting, financial reviews, and budgeting for the assigned business unit.

• Serve as primary finance contact for Branch and District Managers, liaising with senior field leadership.
• Assist Finance Manager with analyses and requests for operational leadership.
• Provide timely, actionable financial analyses to address finance‑related inquiries.
• Compile and execute month‑end journal entries, including inter‑ and intra‑Branch income statement reclassifications.
• Lead monthly, multi‑scenario, market‑level forecasting for the assigned business unit.
• Conduct monthly market‑level financial reviews, discussing results and forecasts to identify opportunities.
• Support the annual bottom‑up budgeting process.
• Audit quarterly and annual field incentive compensation calculations.
• Execute ad‑hoc projects such as new‑location budgets, fleet‑mix impact analyses, facility and lease‑hold impact studies.

Requirements

• 2–5 years relevant experience as an individual contributor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and analysis.
• Experience with enterprise reporting systems (e.g., Oracle/Hyperion, IBM Cognos) and building financial models.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive problem‑solver with strong investigative skills.
• Comfortable presenting and teaching financial concepts.
• Ability to travel periodically.
• Physical ability to bend, squat, lift ≥ 25 lb and perform duties in various weather conditions.
