Chief Resident Engineer (Elevated)-2 (Bid Position)

Description

• Manage stakeholder communication including project authorities, contractors, and local agencies to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Ensure implementation of environmental, health, and safety regulations throughout construction.
• Mentor and develop junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of excellence and safety.
• Review and approve construction methodologies, work plans, and quality assurance/quality control processes.
• Monitor day-to-day progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for timely project delivery.
• Provide overall leadership and supervision on-site for the execution of rail/metro projects, with special emphasis on urban rail transit systems.
• Coordinate, guide, and manage multidisciplinary site teams, including contractors, consultants, and sub-consultants.
• Prepare, review, and submit regular progress reports and site documentation to project management and the client.
• Resolve complex technical and construction challenges as they arise on site.
• Oversee project construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules.

Requirements

• 25 years expereince in Railways/Metro
• Minimum 5 years experience in urban rail based passenger carrying system
• Graduate in Civil Engineering
