The technician will account for all materials and supplies, audit incoming goods, and oversee receipt, storage, and shipment in line with established procedures. They will prepare and coordinate shipping and receiving schedules to control the flow of goods and optimize warehouse space, ensuring effective operating procedures, space utilization, and equipment maintenance. Additionally, they will process sales orders and invoices, update the warehouse location system, and provide on‑call customer service as required.
Compliance with environmental health and safety policies is mandatory. The employee must identify and report unsafe habits, incidents, or near‑misses, perform risk assessments before tasks, maintain a tidy work area, attend EHS training, and wear required personal protective equipment.
Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of warehouse or inventory experience, and forklift operation skills. Experience with mining operations and computerized inventory systems is an asset. The role requires ability to work independently and within a team, strong organizational, time‑management, and communication skills, computer literacy in MS Office, and the physical ability to work outdoors, lift up to 50 lb, and hold a valid driver’s licence.
