  • Own end-to-end operational responsibility for IT networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, cabling, and other critical systems — with focus on hands-on optimization and ongoing management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and 3rd-party integrators to accept, test, and operationalize secure, scalable networking infrastructure solutions
  • Plan and execute network upgrades, patches, and firmware updates for enterprise switches, routers, and wireless controllers
  • Ensure minimal downtime during system maintenance and upgrades by coordinating with other IT teams and scheduling maintenance windows
  • Security-conscious by default — enforce threat modeling, data protection, and least-privilege principles in operational environments
  • Proactively monitor network performance, availability, and traffic patterns to ensure a seamless and efficient environment
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for both system and network level troubleshooting as needed
  • Serve as an escalation point, offering technical guidance to Help Desk/Support Engineers
  • Assisted in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans and network restoration
  • Participated in business continuity exercises to validate network recovery

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Network Administrator to join our Corporate XNRGY IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, engineering, and operations of wired/wireless, local/wide Area Networks (LAN, WAN), and Branch Offices. The position directly relates to providing scalable, resilient, and secure networking solutions for Xnrgy Climate Systems. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems, contributing to the overall success of our business operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative team environment but is equally comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

  • Expert-level configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of network routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices (Cisco, Meraki, Ubiquiti, etc.)
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in network administration and engineering
  • Experience in team management or junior team member mentoring
  • Proficiency configuring virtual networking within Azure and AWS (VPC, VNet, TGW, peering, etc.)
  • Experience working within a Manufacturing/OT environment, with an understanding of network and system segmentation
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills with a collaborative approach to cross-functional engineering work
  • Experience working within the Atlassian Jira suite of ITSM products
  • Current and relevant industry-recognized networking certifications (CCNP, CCIE, ACMP, etc.)
  • Modern state of the art facility with Industry 4.0 technology in Mesa, Arizona
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement automation opportunities for scalability and efficiency
