The Inbound Solar Energy Consultant is a fully virtual sales role focused on helping GoodLeap empower homeowners to live more sustainably. Using a consultative sales approach, the consultant educates customers on residential solar benefits, guides them in selecting the best program, and supports them through the proposal and installation process in partnership with GoodLeap’s trusted contractors.
Key responsibilities include cross‑selling GoodLeap products to existing customers, communicating with prospects, preparing and reviewing solar proposals, delivering top‑tier customer service throughout the sales and installation phases, collaborating with a dynamic team, and consistently meeting daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs. Additional duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Required qualifications are at least one year of residential solar sales experience with a proven record of meeting or exceeding goals, strong relationship‑management skills, the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply, and excellent listening, reading, and communication abilities. Candidates should thrive in a team environment, be proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (MS Office, internet, CRM), demonstrate high integrity and ethical sales practices, and possess strong interpersonal skills; a Home Improvement Salesperson license is preferred.
