Technical Manager

Description

As a Technical Operations Manager at Dalkia, you will be responsible for leading and managing technical teams delivering maintenance operations across various disciplines within our clients' facilities.

You will oversee day-to-day operational delivery, ensuring your teams achieve compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and Dalkia Safety Rules while maintaining the overall efficiency and reliability of our operations. You will conduct regular site visits to monitor operational delivery, assess team performance and ensure a positive Health and Safety environment and safe systems of work are maintained across all contracts through active supervision and auditing. You will be responsible for resource planning, workload allocation and coordination of maintenance activities to meet contractual obligations and client expectations. Building strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders, you will represent Dalkia professionally while ensuring service delivery standards are consistently met.

• Role model the Health & Safety Codes of Safe Working and other Environmental issues to ensure total compliance with Imtech Inviron’s Health, Safety and Environmental Policy
• Managed and delivered against KPI’s / SLA’s including financial and health and safety targets
• Deliver the agreed revenue and gross margin
• Work collaboratively as a team to deliver an ever improving service
• Provide a high level customer service and deal with complaints and enquires in a considerate manner
• Role model safe practices of working and challenge any unsafe behaviours
• Leading People – Takes responsibility for their team and naturally takes the lead. Provides others with clear and achievable direction. Deals with people and situations confidently, assertively and fairly.
• Developed and maintained a collaborative relationship with the client
• Develop employees / teams to deliver and demonstrate behaviours in line with the guiding principles
• Lead and managed a technical facilities maintenance team on a single contract
• Performance management including recognising good performance, addressing capability gaps and dealing with misconduct issues in a timely manner
• Make recommendations on matters concerning continuous improvement and “adding value” that may improve the productivity, costs, quality of service delivery etc.
• Persuading and Influencing - Persuades, influences and listens to others, using reason and co-operation to reach agreement. Reaches successful outcomes by adapting ones’ communication technique to individuals or audiences.
• Manage the supply chain relationship
• Ensure mandatory training and certification is in place
• Manage the team to deliver a right first time service in line with contractual requirements
• Understand, anticipate and deliver customer requirements

Requirements

• Smartphone and Tablet / laptop (where applicable for role)
• Good understanding of financial management
• Identified and implemented opportunities to deliver contract growth in financial gains and efficiencies
• KPI’s / SLA’s
• Uniform and PPE (where applicable for role)
• IT literate
• Demonstrates a high level of technical knowledge of building services
• Planning and Delivering - Delivers brilliantly on promises. Plans and supervises activities and resources to maximise performance.
• Commercial Acumen – Identifies and seeks new business opportunities for the organisation. Aware and considerate of how role impacts the entire business.
