Coordinate and communicate effectively with all employees involved in the project to ensure high utilization rates (i.e. Project team meeting).
Adhere to Health and Safety program and all applicable SOPs.
Assist with the preparation for public hearings, meetings and any other presentations in relation to current projects.
Monitor time schedules and capital cost budgets on projects to satisfy client.
Assist with mentoring junior staff in learning sound technical and business practices and enhancing corporate objectives.
May oversee the activities of assigned staff, including but not limited to timesheet review and approval, performance evaluation and daily supervision.
Review monthly labor and cost reports to ensure projects are being completed at the pre-established goal.
Works efficiently with the Billing Department to authorize and transmit bills to client. Follows up with clients for timely payments.
Participate in or hold team meetings ensuring procedures governing the review and approval of projects are followed prior to submission of completed work.
Oversee the work and productivity on assigned projects.
Ensure all project work is performed and completed in accordance with QA/QC standards, systems and procedures as designated for project.
Negotiate with clients on any scope changes relative to project budgets and schedules subject to supervisor's approval.
Assist in preparation of effective work plans and labor budgets for approval by supervisor.

Ability to work primarily independently.
Previous use and understanding of AutoCAD and Revit design software with the ability to produce preliminary and schematic designs in AutoCAD at a minimum, but Revit is desired.
8+ years of experience as an Architect.
Willing to travel occasionally to client sites and meetings.
Previous business development and project management experience preferred in planning and executing design/construction projects.
Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Architecture or equivalent work experience as required to maintain licensed architect status.
Ability to work in close collaboration with other managers and leadership, clients, in-house and outside consultants.
Willingness to mentor team members on technical and professional skills.
Licensure in the state of Pennsylvania required.
Strong communication skills required.
Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
