The role involves communicating with Waste Management drivers to resolve problems while they are on route, handling incoming service orders, and directing drivers using Waste Management’s proprietary software. Interaction is required with customers, internal customer service, sales, route managers, and mechanics, and occasional travel up to 15 % may be needed to support centralization efforts.
This remote position requires applicants to reside within the Florida market area and offers virtual and onsite training. The workday starts between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. ET, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturday shifts as needed. Candidates with waste‑industry dispatch or routing experience and strong communication and computer skills are preferred.
Work is performed from a home‑office setting and includes extensive keyboard and monitor use. The base pay is estimated at $20.50 per hour, subject to experience, education, and location factors.
