Site-Based Landscape Architect (Consultant Representative)

Description

Key responsibilities include to review submittals and conduct site inspections.

• Ensure proper implementation of construction details on site
• Liaise with contractors, engineers, and other consultants on landscape matters
• Review landscape-related submittals including materials, shop drawings, method statements, and samples
• Identify non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, and compliance
• Oversee and review works related to:
• Track and manage submittals using Aconex
• Act as on-site representative for landscape-related works
• Review mock-ups, installations, and completed works prior to handover
• Coordinate with the head office design team and seek remote input when required
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and design intent
• Prepare inspection reports, snag lists, and technical comments

Requirements

Our client is seeking a site-based Landscape Architect to act as an on-site representative during construction. This role is suited to a technically strong individual with solid site experience on the consultant side, who can operate independently, take initiative, and ensure landscape works are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.

• Hardscape (paving, kerbs, walls, finishes, details)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Solid knowledge of hardscape and water feature construction
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Aconex (essential)
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Water features (coordination, construction methodology, finishes, and integration)
• Confident in making site-based decisions within agreed parameters
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven
• Strong understanding of landscape construction processes and sequencing
• PDF editing and mark-up tools
• You must be located within KSA with a Transferable Iqama
• Proven experience working on site in a consultant role
