Coordinate all support activities required to complete all design efforts and quality assurance processes.
Interpret, organize, coordinate, and execute the design and production efforts for one or more large or complex projects.
Provide Architectural design for Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Energy (DOE) governmental Facilities.
Design tasks will include Conceptual Studies, Program Requirements, Design Analyses, Calculations, Specification writing, and Construction Document preparation and redlines.
Work with other disciplines to ensure accuracy of the package, schedule, and budget commitments.
Meet with clients to prepare and/or validate proposed scope of work.
Work in a design team environment, including directing and mentoring the work of junior architects and designers, and delegating work as required as well as provide management of the local team.
Perform code reviews, redline projects, prepare fee proposals, and propose scope of work for architectural design work.

Must understand the importance of Business Development and project management for E-A firms, must be able to manage projects and demonstrate skills in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Client projects for this position require sole U.S. Citizenship.
Eight (8) years of experience working in a professional architecture / engineering environment managing projects.
Local candidates preferred.
Experience in all phases of design, with track record of completed, successful projects.
Master’s degree in architecture.
Ability to travel as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
