Participate in on-call engineer rotation and respond to off-hours call as needed.
Foster a work environment that promotes energy conservation and continuous improvement of engineering functions.
Use Prism Work Order System to complete tenant work requests, preventative maintenance assignments and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
Operate building equipment and systems as directed by chief and/or senior engineer.
Respond to tenant service requests in such a manner as to reduce tenant work orders and eliminate recurring problems.
Assist in coordination of service vendors and scheduling testing/inspection of building systems.
Crosstrain at portfolio properties to gain basic knowledge of building systems to be able to support Chief Engineer at these sites as needed.

Comply with safety and environmental procedures, specifically hazardous communication programs, lockout – tagout programs, asbestos O & M programs and mold awareness programs.
3-5 years’ relevant experience in modern office building & life science property management.
Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Office, Outlook, work order management system).
Strong tenant relations skills.
Background in BMS controls required.
Able to complete tenant “handy-man” type repairs.
Able to perform minor plumbing, electrical and HVAC repairs/maintenance.
