In this role you will lead the development and implementation of planning solutions, manage senior‑level client relationships, and mentor a dynamic team of engineers and planners. You will supervise transportation studies, provide subject‑matter expertise on travel demand modelling, and ensure technical accuracy and compliance across multidisciplinary projects.
You will also oversee major transit and transportation studies, evaluate new projects, analyze alternatives, and contribute to transportation master plans and sustainable mobility choices. Business development responsibilities include identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, presenting to prospective clients, and maintaining strong public and private sector relationships.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Civil Engineering or a related field, RPP or P.Eng. certification, and 15+ years of relevant experience. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in strategic planning, public transit systems, travel forecasting, project leadership, consulting skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.
Preferred experience involves leading multi‑modal transportation master plans for municipal clients and a deep understanding of Ontario public and private sector policies and client needs.
