The Account Manager at Rolls‑Royce will oversee assigned accounts for hyperscale data centers, acting as the single point of contact for all commercial and technical inquiries while contributing to sales revenue goals and project margins through strong presentation, detail orientation, and technical knowledge.
- Identify revenue growth areas within accounts and develop sales growth plans tracked via CRM.
- Serve as primary contact for assigned accounts, handling commercial and technical requests and resolving conflicts.
- Develop potential customers and markets through assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with the sales force on quote development, including specification review and pricing of non‑standard items.
- Work with Sr. Sales Managers and Business Development Managers to track quotes throughout the sales process.
- Accept new orders through the system and initiate them in the internal order processing workflow.
- Approve and price change‑order requests on existing orders not yet produced.
- Provide training for assigned accounts using custom programs or existing resources.
- Create and deliver presentations for internal and external customers.
- Participate in product development projects, contributing market knowledge and feedback.
- Manage cross‑functional communication to ensure a seamless experience for assigned accounts.
- Provide regular customer communications, including up‑to‑date open‑order reports.
- Promote a compliance culture and adhere to the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, possess a bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing (or equivalent experience), have at least three years of inside sales or customer‑service experience with industrial equipment or manufacturing (seven years if no degree), and be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Master’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing (preferred).
- Background or interest in Business Law.
- Strong CRM skills and ability to track sales opportunities through the funnel.
- In‑depth knowledge of power systems and trends, especially for hyperscale data centers.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills for complex, high‑impact issues.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical specifications, legal documents, and construction drawings.
- Strong presentation and communication skills for addressing managers, clients, and public audiences.
- Solid quantitative abilities, including probability, statistics, and practical application of ratios and percentages.
- Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
