The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the community, handling accounting tasks, monthly reporting, invoice processing, rent collection, and bank reconciliations. This role also drives leasing and marketing efforts, ensures property safety and maintenance standards, and acts as the on‑site supervisor when the Community Manager is absent.
- Support the Community Manager in financial and operational management of the property.
- Process invoices, collect rent, perform bank deposits and account reconciliations.
- Complete the full leasing cycle to achieve revenue and occupancy goals.
- Review and approve vendor invoices according to company policies.
- Analyze market trends and recommend property improvements.
- Enforce lease terms through inspections, evictions, collections, and notifications.
- Conduct property tours and provide performance updates to owners and clients.
- Manage contractors and vendors, ensuring timely service delivery.
- Promote resident satisfaction by building strong relationships.
- Oversee property safety, cleanliness, and report maintenance issues.
- Supervise on‑site staff in the Community Manager’s absence, delegating tasks and coordinating maintenance.
- Develop and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
- Work a 40‑hour week with required weekend availability.
- Perform routine local travel for business errands and meetings.
