Assistant Manager - Finance, FP&A

Description

• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
• Support long term business planning and forecasting exercise in coordination with cross functional team
• Ensures accuracy of numbers being prepared and presented and in a timely manner
• Evaluates and establishes norms/ processes that enable quick and timely decision making within Sterlite
• Does in-depth research and obtains relevant information from unusual sources in order to make more informed decisions, within the desired timeframe
• Benchmark the organization versus key competitors and relevant industry players to identify areas of competitive advantage
• Prepare and maintain checklist of all items to be considered while preparing MIS report and cost budget
• Provide necessary support to all stakeholders
• Work with the team to update forecast model with actual monthly and help prepare commentary for variances and results

Requirements

• Should have solid understanding of financial statements and their cross linkages and ability to connect the dots
