Inventory Accounts Payable Associate

Description

The ideal role involves managing accounts payable processes, ensuring all financial transactions are executed accurately and vendors are paid on time to maintain strong business relationships. This position is suited for someone who enjoys working in a detailed, structured environment where contributions directly impact the company’s financial health and vendor relations.

• Scan, index, and retain paid invoices while managing vendor communications.
• Review vendor statements, conduct research, and communicate professionally with vendors and internal customers.
• Process daily operational tasks such as printing, sorting invoices, handling mail, and performing photocopying, scanning, and faxing.
• Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in all accounting tasks.

Requirements

We value precision and accuracy in managing financial transactions, effective communication with proactive resolution of discrepancies, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Our must‑haves include a high school diploma or GED (college degree preferred) and 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting, along with a basic understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably Prophet 21 accounting software, excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and strong problem‑solving abilities.

• 1–2 years experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software (preferably Prophet 21).
