May occasionally be required to manage day-to-day operations of the Document Control Team.
Implement an efficient work-flow process, monitor daily activity, and implement modifications.
Support the Document Control Manager and Document Control Team to maintain a document management system for contract documents and project documents.
Retrieve files, Upload / Download files, Manage Document Naming Convention, numbering, assigning, and distribution.
Work with project department leads to ensure timely processing of documentation.
Work with the Document Control Manager and Document Control Team to ensure policies and procedures are being followed.
Work within the existing Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
Process Incoming/Outgoing documentation.
Provide Document Management support to the entire project team.
Ensure that electronic record files as required are maintained in good order to comply with contractual requirements.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Ability to work in a team or independently in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Familiar with the Submittal and RFI Packages Procedure and Processes.
1-3 years of project experience in a Document Control or similar role, working in the construction industry.
Strong reading, comprehension, and written retention skills.
Must have experience with Microsoft Excel and ProjectWise
Excellent organization, coordination, and prioritizing skills.
Exhibit good problem solving skills and superior attention to details.
Knowledge of document management process, procedures, and systems.
Must be able to work within the Field Office located in Norfolk 5 days per week.
Exceptional client relations and customer service skills.
