In this role you will act as the Planning Lead across a variety of markets, driving bid preparation, tender submissions and framework responses. You will serve as the lead consultant on multidisciplinary projects, taking responsibility for project management and delivery while supporting junior colleagues and planning team leaders. Working alongside environmental, engineering and design experts, you will help integrate planning solutions within broader project teams. You will also engage with market and client leads to identify growth and development opportunities.
The ideal candidate holds a relevant planning degree, with RTPI membership being desirable, and can thrive under pressure while meeting tight deadlines. You should have proven experience delivering multiple assignments on time and within budget, including expertise in Environmental Impact Assessments, strategic planning and planning policy. Familiarity with TCPA, DCO, TWAO or equivalent applications, and strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Demonstrated ability to build client relationships, win work and support market expansion is also required.
This position may require security clearance, with the vetting process conducted by UKSV and residency proof may be needed.
