Develops designs for complete and complex PD&P Piping systems with minimum supervision from which detailed scale models and/or construction drawings are completed
Prepares or assists with the preparation of assigned material requisitions and bid evaluations
Participates in constructability reviews
Assists in constructing detailed scale models
Coordinates or makes jobsite visits, as required, to resolve problems and interpret drawings and documents
Prepares design and drafting procedures to standardize design effort
Monitors and checks work for compliance with approved PD&P design standards to provide quality design, reliable/safe plant operation and construction economy. Ensures PD&P systems designs comply with all applicable installation codes, regulations, and standards
Endorses or prepares reports of work progress, as required, for project and discipline use

Knowledge of the application of engineering and construction materials related to design responsibilities.
Requires tertiary qualification (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Sound knowledge of design and drafting techniques, engineering drawings, graphic arts, reading of drawings, and reproduction methods used by the discipline.
Expertise in reading, interpreting and using related documents and drawings prepared by other project groups.
Experience with multi discipline interface management and global 3D model oversight.
Demonstrated experience with Smart3D modelling of piping in a multi-discipline, intelligent 3D modelling environment.
