Escalate maintenance and upkeep issues to your leadership team appropriately and in a timely manner based on urgency of the issue if you are unable to identify or resolve an assigned issue
Share best practices with new hires and tenured colleagues to foster a culture of continuous improvement
Support the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of our building by completing assigned preventative maintenance tasks daily to standard
Effectively complete assigned work orders daily according to industry and Placemakr standards
Utilize our maintenance system to respond to work orders in a timely manner and take meticulous notes per Placemakr SOPs to ensure a streamlined operation
Maintain a safe, secure and compliant environment for team members and guests by adhering to established Placemakr and property-specific policies and procedures, including emergency protocols, attendance policies and conduct expectations
Foster a "one team" mentality by collaborating effectively with fellow property team members, contributing to a cohesive and supportive work environment

You have a can-do attitude and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, contributing to a culture of positive communication, unity and mutual support
You have 1+ years of experience with navigating appliances, basic plumbing and basic HVAC repairs and a demonstrated capacity to acquire new technical skills as necessary
You excel at assessing and prioritizing maintenance requests (with support from your leadership team) based on factors such as urgency, time of submission and the extent of repairs needed
Maintenance Technicians will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time) and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance). Doing all these things well (and other reasonable job duties as requested) is critical for our Maintenance Technicians and an exceptional guest experience
You have a demonstrated understanding of the general maintenance and safety procedures and techniques needed to ensure a secure and compliant environment for all team members, guests, residents and third-party individuals
You exceed expectations in all Maintenance Technician II skills
You have the ability to work on-call shifts consistently based on the needs of the business
You have 3+ years of skilled-labor or maintenance experience, with at least 1+ year of that experience in a maintenance position within Class-A residential buildings, hotels, or similar
