The Controls & Systems Analyst role blends hands‑on industrial automation engineering with internal software development. The position involves site surveys, control‑panel design, and automation support, as well as coding, testing, and maintaining business applications, requiring cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, IT, operations, and customers.
- Conduct site surveys and define technical requirements with customers and project teams.
- Review bid specifications, drawings, and documentation to ensure accurate quoting.
- Design industrial control panels, producing layouts, wiring diagrams, and selecting hardware.
- Develop, test, and maintain internal business applications through analysis and coding.
- Coordinate resources and timelines for large‑scale system projects.
- Troubleshoot user issues, provide technical guidance, and implement system improvements.
- Maintain high‑quality documentation for automation and software initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, IT, and customers to achieve project success.

- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Possess experience in controls engineering and industrial automation support (preferred).
- Familiar with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial electrical principles.
- Experienced with electrical CAD tools such as AutoCAD or BricsCAD; CAD macro scripting is a plus.
- Demonstrate strong communication, troubleshooting, and documentation abilities.
- Maintain a customer‑focused mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Hold a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
