Coordinates and leads the proposal strategy and planning sessions in collaboration with internal partners. Schedules and chairs the proposal kick-off meeting at the beginning of the pursuit phase.
Participates and seeks involvement in outside professional organizations that support the proposal coordinator position.
Evaluates the narrative for relevance, comprehension, and applicability. Identifies any new narrative requirements with the appropriate partners to create them. New proposal narratives are created as the need arises.
Conducts client background research to identify questions, concerns, and potential risks and advises strategic visioning and proposal planning stage.

7 years’ experience as a proposal coordinator or in a related role (communications, marketing, visual communications).
Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) practitioner certification, Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) certification or equivalent is preferred.
Outstanding attention to detail, good judgement, and able to problem-solve.
Highly developed interpersonal skills with an ability to lead and collaborate with a diverse group sensitively, thoughtfully, and respectfully.
Ability to establish, influence, and maintain relationships with decision makers and key partners.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent preferred.
Outstanding verbal, written, and visual communication skills. Ability to develop grammatically sound, customized, technical and written content.
