KBR’s National Security Solutions team is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) in Colorado Springs, CO. The role requires an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and U.S. citizenship, and will involve developing software that directly contributes to protecting national security.
Engineers on this team work on innovative prototype projects that advance the Air Force’s mission-critical objectives, collaborating with product managers, developers, and defense experts in an Agile and DevOps environment. The position offers the chance to impact air, space, and cyberspace capabilities while working alongside leading experts across the intelligence community and partner nations.

Compensation ranges from $92,700 to $139,000 for the Colorado Springs area, with the potential for bonuses, sign‑on incentives, relocation assistance, and other performance‑based rewards.
