Must have ability to interpret design plans and understand as-built drawings and roadway plans.
Ability to follow instructions and have a positive can-do attitude are necessities.
Must have the ability to operate robotic total stations, electronic data collectors, digital and optical levels, and RTK GPS equipment.
Ability to maintain required certifications.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, walk for extended periods, work in all weather conditions, willing to work evenings/weekends when required, willing to travel for overnight and extended stay projects as required.
Valid Driver’s License
Must possess leadership and mentoring skills.
Must have ability to create legible field sketches and detailed field notes.
Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
Must have excellent math skills and be able to perform survey calculations in the field.
Must have the ability to mentor, train, and manage assigned staff in the field.
A valid current driver’s license is required.
This position is a Survey Party Chief which requires 4 - 8 years of experience supervising a survey field crew performing control surveys, boundary and topographic surveys, construction stakeout, monitoring and as-built surveys.
