Project Engineer

Description

GCL is looking to hire a Project Engineer who is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising project execution to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and adherence to contractual and technical requirements. Collaborates with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to drive successful project outcomes within approved budgets and schedules.

• Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Prepare project progress reports, document variations or delays, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring milestones and deliverables.
• Review technical drawings, designs, and specifications for accuracy and constructability.
• Coordinate material, plant, and equipment requirements to ensure timely procurement.
• Implement quality assurance processes and enforce HSE compliance on site.

Requirements

• Skilled in site supervision, resource coordination, and problem-solving.
• Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in civil engineering or construction projects, preferably in landscaping, infrastructure, or related works.
• Analytical thinking and decision-making under pressure.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and construction practices.
• Proficiency in project management and construction software.
• Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Agriculture, or related field.
• Strong communication, leadership, and coordination abilities.
