Senior Electrical Design Technician

Description

• Participate in a wellness program promoting balanced lifestyles
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure well-integrated system designs.
• Maintain drawing standards, support project documentation, and assist with quality reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet project goals and timelines.
• Participate in site walks or field coordination when required.
• Develop accurate and detailed electrical drawings and layouts using Revit or other CAD tools.
• Support team mentorship and review work of junior technicians as needed.
• Assist in the design of lighting, power, fire alarm, and emergency systems.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Revit; experience with AutoCAD or other BIM tools is a plus.
• Understanding of electrical codes, design practices, and coordination principles.
• 6+ years of electrical design experience in building systems.
• Willingness to support site coordination and travel when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce construction-ready documentation.
• Associate degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field (preferred).
