This role can be based in Maroochydore or Brisbane and will support a diversity of markets in water, transport, energy and defence across Australia and you will be involved in:-
- Support documentation, measurement, and communication of social sustainability and outcomes delivery by Mott MacDonald to support continuous improvement and promotional purposes.
- Leading and supporting colleagues and clients to deliver social outcomes, leveraging strong relationships, partnerships and data-based decisions.
- Work collaboratively as part of an integrated advisory team across project sectors and projects.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including exemplar delivery of client services.
- Preparation of technical reports required to facilitate project delivery to a high standard.
- Undertake business development and proposal writing for cross-sector social and sustainablity services

The ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of people and disciplines is essential. You will approach problem‑solving with a positive mindset, recognising that everyone in the social team plays a leadership role by supporting others, offering guidance, and role‑modelling effective collaboration.
We are looking for a range of skills and experiences – from a social data-whiz through to experienced community development/social outcomes practitioners who know how to connect and collaborate with project teams and communities.
- Be able to thrive in dynamic work environments, across multiple projects at a time.
- Experience delivering advisory/technical studies and reports.
- Be able to build collaborative relationships, influence and trust with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working on Australian Defence projects or ability to work on Australian Defence Projects preferred.
- Minimum 5-10 years experience ideally working with engineering-based industries.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in social science, social research, humanities, social outcomes, community relations and/or development.
- Experience working with government procurement processes and/or First Nations Communities and Organisations is highly valued.
