Help the Project Superintendent comply with all jobsite reporting requirements, including daily reports, field orders, weekly updates to the 'two-week look-ahead' and monthly updates to the construction schedule.
Coordinate, schedule and manage subcontractors and vendors, expedite the work on a daily and weekly basis.
Maintain accurate timekeeping and cost records.
Maintain safety standards - safety planning is to be included in all pre-job planning and considered foremost in the daily operations.
Close out the project in compliance with the contract documents and company requirements.
Supervise work and develop alternative construction methods for job efficiency.
Maintain quality consistent with the company standards.
Manage material receiving - ensure that material received is properly inspected for quantity and quality, and that the receiving tickets are properly signed, coded and filed accordingly.
Work with the Project Superintendent to manage field operations.
Identify and resolve construction problems as they develop.
Attend required jobsite meetings.

Ability to safely navigate a construction site which will include the following: climbing ladders and stairs, use of job hoists, inclement weather conditions, hazardous/cluttered and dark areas.
Safety standards knowledge and enforcement.
Familiarize yourself with shop drawing and submittals and help project managers comply with the submittal schedule, contract documents and company reporting requirements.
Self-starter with ability to set goals and tasks with strong leadership skills.
NYCHA/ Tenant in place renovations experience a plus.
Bachelors' Degree in Architecture/Civil Engineering with 3-5 years' experience in the construction field/ mixed use.
NYC High-rise residential experience a plus.
NYC affordable housing experience a plus.
Understands building plans and specs.
