We are looking for a detail‑oriented Engineer – Architect to supervise architectural engineering aspects of construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing site activities, ensuring compliance with plans and quality standards, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines. The position reports to the project manager and provides technical mentorship to junior staff.
- Supervise and coordinate architectural engineering activities on construction sites.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved plans and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.
- Schedule and review inspections, monitor inspector performance, and follow up on installations.
- Update the project manager on progress of assigned work for reporting.
- Review and maintain as‑built records and coordinate services.
- Coordinate material reviews and design queries with the architect manager.
- Implement and uphold quality‑control procedures for finishing elements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, inspectors, and team members.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss progress and address concerns.
- Perform walk‑downs and inspections to ensure conformance with specifications and design.
- Conduct quantity surveys for tracking and reporting.
- May direct inspectors, technicians, and surveyors as needed.
