- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 4+ years’ experience in product development and design.
- Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks or Onshape 3D modeling.
- Experience designing and qualifying parts using various manufacturing techniques (metal/plastic welding, forming, molding).
- Ability to create fabrication drawings and knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5‑2018).
- Experience with PLM systems and structured engineering release processes.
- Experience coordinating with suppliers and contract manufacturers (China experience a plus).
- Native proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
- Safety‑focused and knowledgeable of regulatory requirements (UL/CSA/CE/IEC/GB&T).
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Working verbal proficiency in Mandarin and basic reading proficiency in Chinese (nice to have).
