- Provide daily on-site supervision of custodial staff to ensure all tasks are completed to specification and in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; request replenishment as needed.
- Train and mentor custodial staff in proper cleaning methods, equipment usage, and safety procedures.
- Perform inspections of assigned areas and correct deficiencies as needed.
- Serve as Alternate Project Manager when designated, assuming full operational oversight in the absence of the Project Manager.
- Prepare reports or logs related to custodial operations, inspections, or personnel as required.
- Coordinate work schedules, assign tasks, and manage staffing needs, including coverage for absences.
- Communicate effectively with government representatives and contractors regarding work performance and expectations.
- Ensure compliance with all janitorial contract requirements, quality standards, and safety protocols.

- Minimum of five (5) years of janitorial/custodial work experience.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication, with strong organizational skills.
- OSHA or other safety certifications.
- Familiarity with government contracting processes and performance-based service contracts.
- Ability to interpret and apply custodial standards and federal facility protocols.
- Must be physically able to perform janitorial tasks and work in various environmental conditions.
- Minimum of three (3) consecutive years supervising a janitorial or custodial workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a structured, compliance-driven environment.
- Experience working in a federal or military facility environment.
