- Provide support to teams of mechanical and electrical engineers to create & update MM and Engineering Bill of Material (EBOM) in PLM and ERP systems.
- Implement quality control measures to verify data accuracy and completeness
- Independently manage assigned projects with minimal supervision
- Ensure product data integrity across PLM and ERP systems ensuring accurate product information is available for internal stakeholders and external channels
- Release MM, BoM and DIR with organization approved Engineering Change Management process
- Extract and transform material data from various engineering tools and ensure data consistency across ERP and PLM systems and interconnected databases
- The Engineering Data Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining critical product information throughout the product lifecycle
- Estimate task/project timelines and document outcomes for future reference
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, business rules, and PLM/SAP data standards

- Proven experience with data cleansing, mass data updates, and data validation techniques
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with SAP ECC or S/4HANA Material Master data & BoM. Experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and Fiori apps is desirable
- Good understanding and experience with Engineering Change Management (ECM) process
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams in global environments
- Familiarity with master data governance frameworks and tools
- Bachelors degree in engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of material types (ROH, HALB, FERT) and associated data attributes (Basic Data, Purchasing, MRP, Work Scheduling, Costing, Sales, etc.)
- The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on experience with SAP Material Master data, including the creation, maintenance, and governance of material records across raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- 3+ years of experience working with PLM tool (Teamcenter preferred) for Material Master and BoM
