Able to produce technically sound engineering solutions, complying with all relevant technical standards and client requirements, working without significant supervision and moving towards overseeing more junior members of staff undertaking similar tasks
Demonstrates a basic understanding of the different interfaces on projects
Bachelors or Masters degree in an appropriate subject
Experienced in following procedures associated with the management of health, safety and welfare, e.g. Amey’s Integrated Management System and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations
Has a basic understanding of CDM and risk assessment.
Has knowledge and understanding of technical and specification processes and is starting to take ownership for the production of deliverables with appropriate supervision
Experienced in the management and communication of hazards and risks on projects
Good competence with relevant software and similar analytical tools
Successful completion of a Degree Apprenticeship programme or an employer led early careers development programme, with a degree of progress through a programme of initial professional development leading towards Incorporated or Chartered status.
