Principal, NERC Cybersecurity Compliance (CIP)

Description

• Oversee the maintenance of Invenergy NERC CIP policies, procedures, and job aides.
• Provide information and operational technology, cyber security, networking, and SCADA proficiency guidance in relation to the compliance fitness.
• Answering specific queries and providing guidance requiring an advanced technology knowledge base.
• Independently drive end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of assigned deliverables supporting program continuous improvement, internal controls and policy/rule advocacy.
• Support RTO/ISO and NERC Medium/High Impact performance demonstration obligations.
• Maintain awareness of emerging utility industry and cyber security developments through benchmarking
• Develop and deliver NERC training to internal support groups and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Desired Certifications: CISSP, CISM, and CISA
• Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and solve complex problems with limited managerial oversight.
• Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related discipline with an engineering/power system focus
• Advanced Knowledge of NERC rules and framework, highly preferred
• 10+ years of demonstrated IT/OT and cyber security technical acumen application
• Willingness to travel between 10-20%
• Proficient in firewall, networking, and vulnerability scan technologies
• 5+ years of direct NERC program implementation experience
• Proficient in the use of MS SharePoint and KPI Applications
• Ability to multi-task and maintain high performance under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Advanced organizational, presentation/facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills
