Tasks

-Communicate with program applicants in multiple formats including telephone, text, and email communication. -Communicate directly with program applicants to provide status on their application, answer questions related to the program and collect documentation from program applicants to complete their application. -Review applications to ensure the information is complete and the applicant has provided all required documentation. -Follow standard operating procedures, training materials, checklists, and other job aids to process applications. -Communicate with supervisors for directives, work schedule, program changes, and other relevant information via email, telephone, text, and Microsoft Teams. -Work involves travel to various sites across Missouri, including potentially hazardous environments requiring strict safety compliance. -Escalate issues following standard operating procedures. -Use Microsoft Office applications and other software to document time worked, activities completed, applicant information, and applicant interactions. -Maintain adherence to program standard operating procedures and the program health and safety plan. -Achieve daily processing expectations and document activities to demonstrate productivity. -Document relevant notes of interactions with program applicants to progress their application.

What You Bring

-Previous experience in Right of Entry (ROE) application processing and eligibility review. -At least 2 years of experience in community assistance, disaster recovery, case management, or social services. -Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work empathetically with diverse populations. -Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Administration, Emergency Management, or a related field preferred. -High school education or higher required.
