The Senior Tax Planning Accountant supports the corporate tax department in tax planning, special projects, federal/state/international audit defense, and tax compliance initiatives.
- Prepare and analyze support for complex planning projects implementing the company’s tax planning strategies.
- Assist with special tax planning projects for quarterly and annual tax provisions, including data analysis and journal entry preparation.
- Manage responses to tax notices, exam information requests, and other correspondence for state and international tax audits.
- Assist in preparing the Country‑by‑Country report and Master File for the federal tax return.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to collect and maintain up‑to‑date tax‑related information.
- Prepare federal and state tax returns and workpapers in coordination with the tax operations team as needed.

We seek candidates with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a CPA credential (or candidate), and three to five years of tax experience, preferably in public accounting or a large corporate tax department.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Masters in Tax preferred.
- CPA designation or CPA candidate.
- Three to five years of tax experience, preferably two+ years in public accounting or a large corporate tax department.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with accounting and tax software systems such as Hyperion, SAP, and Corptax (a plus).
- Ability to work independently and within a high‑performance team, handling pressure and flexibility.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and meet critical deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Benefits
This salaried exempt role offers a starting salary range of $81,600‑$107,100 annually, dependent on geography, skills, education, and experience, with eligibility for an annual bonus and no overtime.
