- Facilitates communication between the client and the project team; documents important issues
- Frequently travel by car or plane to visit job sites and attend meetings, conferences, and events
- Oversees the profitability of the project by negotiating fees and contracts as may be appropriate, participating in the budgeting process, and ensuring that invoices are accurate and delivered in a timely manner
- May travel to and navigate construction sites, some of which may be at high altitudes or small spaces with dirt or dust particles
- Monitors accounts receivables on projects and initiates corrective action as needed
- Completes the project scope and requirements with the client and other stakeholders and communicates project scope and requirements to the project team
- Assists Cx Project Managers with roofing specific tasks on Building Enclosure projects
- Performs and directs detailed roof condition assessments and corresponding reporting
- May need to periodically ride swing stages and boom lifts on a job site as necessary
- May participate in planning and budgeting processes, which include preparing monthly billing projections and budget metrics as required by management
- Performs or directs others to perform project job site visits to investigate field conditions, monitor progress, and ensure conformance to design specifications, owner expectations, and building codes during construction
- May assist management in the training and mentoring of less experienced colleagues within the Enclosure group
- Frequent travel (about 30-50% of the time) to visit job sites and attend meetings, conferences, and events
- Coordinates activities of the project team and contractors during the design and construction phases
- May need to periodically maneuver over, under, and around barriers as well as climb ladders on a job site
- Frequently use a computer for several hours at a time
- Frequently work outdoors on a roof, or otherwise at a project site for several hours at a time
- Coordinates with other disciplines to determine equipment needs, implement operating procedures, and provide technical information
- Identifies, negotiates, and administers fees for additional services
- Manages the design, bidding, construction administration, and closeout for roofing specific projects
- Supervises the job close out process to ensure documentation, lessons learned, and filings are complete
- Schedules work, communicates schedule information to the project team, and monitors manpower requirements
- Works with the client to understand schedule expectations and, with team input, proposes interim milestones to the schedule for proper information flow, adjusting as necessary throughout the project
- Prepares and implements a proactive Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plan for projects

- Professional Engineer Licensure preferred

- Knowledge of SSR invoicing process and development/update of revenue projects

- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) software

- Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field and five years related project experience OR
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and move around a job site for several hours at a time
