The Store Manager will build and develop a well‑rounded team of sales associates, train and coach employees on policies, procedures and job duties, and lead by example to achieve sales goals. Responsibilities also include greeting customers proactively, selling tile and related products, learning store and warehouse operations, understanding the installation process to educate customers, tracking sales targets, providing delivery updates, maintaining professional standards, creating schedules for associates and warehouse personnel, ensuring inventory accuracy, and applying sound business practices.
Candidates must have at least one year of retail management experience, prior sales experience, and weekend availability. The role requires a proven ability to build, develop and motivate a sales team, a strong work ethic, and the capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced, commission‑driven environment. Additional preferred attributes include design sense, detail‑orientation, strong organization, basic math and computer skills, and fluency in English.
