Oversee mission critical equipment including but not limited to UPS, static switches, PDUs and generators.
Attend monthly training sessions.
Participate in mandatory training programs for the critical engineers.
Support Critical Environments Chief Engineer or others as required with high-level engineering management tasks and activities.
Assist in the development of specifications for work generally outsourced to third-party vendors.
Guide new employees and current employees as they seek to advance their professional skills and site knowledge.
Complete preventative maintenance (PM) programs for all critical and non-critical operations including water treatment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
Write, review, and complete MOPs and SOPs and know the process for completing both.
Manage and document all PM activities.
Perform on-call and after-hours support functions.

Understand and be able to read complex blueprints and one-line drawings.
Thorough understanding of all engineering practices including but not limited to design specifications and highly analytical reports, and technical manuals.
Must have a current driver's license.
Ability to perform advanced plant operations and/or repairs for a wide variety of support systems including HVAC, pneumatic/DDC controls, and electrical plant operation.
Possess strong knowledge of construction practices and equipment installations.
Possess the ability to climb ladders, stand, kneel, walk extended periods of time, lift and carry 50 lbs.
Possess a thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, BAS and fire life safety systems.
Ability to utilize advanced PC software including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation programs.
Electrical background would be beneficial.
Must be able to pass a stringent background check, and drug screen.
