- Reviewing and advising on initiatives proposed by the business to ensure alignment with the Group’s disclosure requirements.
- Ensure strategic and business issues are highlighted appropriately to management and Executive leadership teams
- Support environmental disclosure assurance in collaboration with Internal Audit and third party auditors
- Represent the Group externally as required at conferences and external fora.
- Support the development, and execution, of the Group’s Sustainability Strategy ( focused on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) elements) and associated targets with reference to current and upcoming regulations and goals
- Delivering excellence in Sustainability reporting to internal stakeholders including the EirGrid plc Board, and externally as required.
- Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Sustainability and ESG monitoring and reporting processes throughout the business
- Lead and manage the production of the Group’s annual Sustainability and ESG reports and disclosures delivering accurate, robust, timely reports including supporting narratives
