Work with Discipline Lead to develop staffing plans and lead structural staff to complete projects within established budget and schedule.
Participate in project strategy meetings for developing design concepts and recommendations for structural systems.
Produce pricing and proposal presentation documents and manage all project efforts/costs/schedules.
Participate in bid reviews when requested and in design reviews with the design team and Customer at 30%, 60% and 90% design completion on all assigned projects.
Prepare design criteria for projects and prepare clear, complete and concise structural documents, calculations, and specifications.
Coordinate work with other disciplines and participate in interdisciplinary coordination checks.
Visit project sites to observe field conditions, inspect existing structures, evaluate design constraints, and resolve construction related problems.
Respond to RFI’s and review submittals for compliance in a timely manner.
Perform construction site visits and prepare observation/follow-up phase reports documenting progress and deficiencies.
Prepare and/or review all structural related testing and inspection reports.
Participate in appropriate pre-construction/preparatory meetings.
Develop repair and replacement concepts and detailed designs.
Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with external/internal Customers and staff in a professional manner conveying pertinent project information as required.
Develop project specific inspection plans and write inspection reports on structural integrity for plant equipment and facilities.

Minimum of eight (8) years of experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering from ABET accredited program required.
Proficiency in MS Office, MathCAD, SAP 2000, SAFE, AutoCAD, PIP, ACI, ASCE-7 and IBC.
Client requirements for this position require US Citizenship.
